From a Teacher
The techniques and software in the Internet industry have been rapidly improving. While continuing to access new techniques to gain new expression and technical skills, a web designer is required to improve him/herself as well as his/her works. It is far from, but you will feel a great sense of accomplishment after your completed work is sent out to the world at large.
You need to know how to use the Internet wherever you work. With the incredible increase in the number of Internet shops and emergence of various smart phones and tablet computers, such as iPhone and iPad, the demand for web designer and web directors has been further increasing in the Internet industry. The web designing industry needs designers with talent to create appealing websites as well as to fulfill the needs of clients. To become marketable, it is important to learn the basic design skills, including drawing skills, designing skills, color constructing skills applicable to graphic designing, and basic formative skills. After gaining these skills, you further need to master management skills, such as marketing, planning, and analyzing skills, and direction skills, on top of technical skills for using html, CGI, Flash, and XML.
